Jadeja rises to No. 2 in all-rounders list, Rohit moves up a spot in batting charts avindra Jadeja moved to the second spot on the ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders, leapfrogging Ben Stokes in the latest charts updated on Wednesday, June 9. Jadeja is now only behind West Indies star Jason Holder, who continues to top the all-rounders' rankings.

Ravindra Jadeja has 386 points, 37 less than Jason Holder and just 1 rating points more than Ben Stokes, who is not part of the ongoing 2-match Test series against New Zealand at home. Stokes was ruled out due to an injury he picked up during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

Ravindra Jadeja also has not played Test cricket since picking up a hand injury during the 3rd Test against Australia earlier this year in Melbourne. He missed the 4-Test series against England at home wherein Axar Patel took his place in the last 3 Tests.

R Ashwin is at the 4th spot on the all-rounders' charts. The India off-spinner had a productive series with the bat against England, hitting a hundred at his hometown in Chennai.

India's opener Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, moved past New Zealand batsman Henry Nicholls to the 7th spot. He is now one spot behind wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and 2 behind captain Virat Kohli, who has retained the 5th spot on the ICC Test Batting Rankings.

Tim Southee moves into top 3

On the other hand, veteran New Zealand pacer Tim Southee gained 3 places to break into the top 3 of ICC Test Bowler Rankings. A 5-wicket haul against England in the drawn Test at Lord's earlier this month has helped Southee gain rating points.

Pat Cummins continues to lead the bowlers' rankings while R Ashwin is at the second spot with 850 points, 58 less than the Australian pace spearhead.

India and New Zealand will be featuring in the final of the inaugural World Test Championship in Southampton from June 18.
